Most professional webmasters know already the importance of backing up your files but for newbies out there who are still having a hard time maintaining their site, let me give you some tips that might enlighten your minds.
Backing up files is very important, you cannot just simply ignore it. Imagine if your site was attacked by hackers and cause your server to breakdown, what will you do? How are you going to retrieve the information of your site? Don’t tell me that you are going to start developing your site all over again. 2. If you back up your files, files and information that has been lost are just available and you could restore it. If you backup your files online, the availability is unlimited. You can access them whenever you need them or wherever you are located as long as you are connected in the internet.
3. Though backing up with your personal devices will be a good idea, using online hosting services is better. When you use back up solutions, everything is automated, so there is really nothing to be worried about.
4. If you worry so much of the cost, then I tell you there are lots of backing up solutions in the internet for free. So I guess there is no reason for you to hesitate backing up your files using these solutions.
